The Coding Platform

Before starting the class, each of you should go to this link and login using the secret words, given to you.

After going to the above link, you should just click on your name, and enter the secret words which have been shared with you.

Please do not share your secret words with anyone else. Otherwise they would be able to make changes to your projects without your knowledge.

Day 1 : Be an Artist

Pre – Work Activity : Draw on a paper!

Follow these set of instructions step by step to get a drawing. Keep the drawing ready before the class!

Move forward by 1 unit
Turn left
Move forward by 1 unit
Turn right
Move forward by 1 unit
Turn left
Move forward by 1 unit
Turn right
Move forward by 1 unit
Repeat Steps (6-10) 3 more times

There is an Intro to App Lab exercise assigned to you. You should spend around 20 minutes trying the mini exercises there. Try to complete the challenges 1-7. I am sure you will be able to do it. It will help you to get familiar with the platform and ready for our 1st live session.

Practice Challenges : After the class

Draw these shape in AppLab. Create a new project for each of these shapes and save by a proper name.
Also, you can create your interesting shapes and patterns.
