DIY Challenge 2: What can we pay?
A state decided to have only 2 types of coins. A ₹3 coin and a ₹5 coin.
They thought it was a good idea because people can pay many amounts with that. For example, you can pay:
- ₹8 = 1 coin of ₹3 and 1 coin of ₹5
- ₹12 = 4 coins of ₹3
- ₹20 = 4 coins of ₹5
- Can you find a way to pay ₹57?
- Are there any amounts which cannot be paid? How many such amounts are there?
