Lesson 7 – Kenken Puzzles for arithmetic operations

Objectives:

  1. Students will explore various possible combinations of obtaining a number under some constraints using Kenken Puzzles.

 

Why?

Kenken Puzzles are a great way to build basic arithmetic and exploratory skills. There can be many possible ways in which we can come with a particular number using arithmetic operations. Through these puzzles, students figure out how different numbers can be obtained under some constraints.

This class can be done on Ipads or any other device, where kids can work in groups.
